Warranties :
If you purchased the 5-Year Furniture Protection Plan, your furniture is covered for qualifying damage by Bernie & Phyl’s under this Plan’s guidelines. Please refer to the guidelines provided at the time of purchase for more details about this program and how to submit a claim.
Warranty paperwork is usually included with your furniture or mattr
ess at time of delivery. Warranty coverage starts on the date of delivery and is non-transferable. Some manufacturers require that you work with them directly to complete a claim. Many manufacturers prefer that you work with Bernie & Phyl’s to submit a claim. If that is the case, please contact us and a Customer Care Representative will be happy to help you. To expedite your claim, we may request that you email photographs of the damage or defect.
Warranty coverage varies by manufacturer. Coverage includes repair or replacement of defective parts and protects against defects in material and workmanship. Warranty coverage is available only to the original purchasers of the furniture or mattress.
Warranty coverage does not include :
Variations in wood and wood veneer products are considered normal and therefore not warranted. Warranties do not apply to furniture or mattresses that have been subject to abuse, abnormal use, or improper care. They do not apply to rental, business, commercial, institutional or other non-residential uses. Warranty coverage also does not apply to merchandise purchased on clearance. Under no circumstances will Bernie & Phyl’s be liable for indirect or incidental damages, and our responsibility will not exceed the original purchase price of the product.
We stand by the quality of our bedding products and sell only the most highly regarded brands on the market. Once in a while, there may be a manufacturing defect that requires attention. We are here to help guide you through the process of filing a claim for a mattress or an adjustable base. Please note that bedding warranties and the process for filing a claim differ between manufacturers.
Some manufacturers require that you contact them directly to file a claim and some require that you contact the retailer. Please see below to find the manufacturer of your product and follow their specified process. You will find the manufacturer of your product on the law tag on the foot of your mattress or on the original paperwork that came with your product.
Please note that manufacturers may require you to provide the serial number for the product, photos of the product labels, photos of the defect or damage to the product, and your invoice as proof of purchase when filing a warranty claim.
